The Experience
Learn where the treatment happens
This is not a lecture hall course. You'll spend two days inside a working aligner practice — observing live patient appointments (consults, records, inserts, adjustments), reviewing ClinChecks with Dr. Tai, and dissecting the digital workflow that supports more than 6,000 treated cases.
Attendance is limited to eight orthodontists so every doctor can bring their own pending cases for live modification, ask the specific questions their practice needs answered, and leave with workflows they can implement on Monday morning.
Astra Orthodontics is ten minutes from Vancouver International Airport — most doctors fly out on the evening of Day 2.

Attendance
Limited to 8 orthodontists per course, with a minimum of 4 registrants. If fewer than 4 register, registration may be deferred to the next available date — courses are confirmed as soon as the minimum is met, or six weeks prior. Please do not purchase air tickets until your course is confirmed.
Meals
Continental breakfast, lunches, and coffee breaks daily — plus a group dinner on Day 1.
Travel
The airport is 10 minutes from the office. Depart directly after sessions on Day 2 for an evening flight home.

Accommodation is booked individually and is not included in the course fee.
CE Credits
Accredited for 14 hours of Continuing Education by AGD PACE — certificate presented at the course.

Philosophy · Teen Treatment · Live ClinicClinic tour & philosophy towards Invisalign treatment
Practice philosophy, digital workflows through the patient process, the new-patient experience, and how Dr. Tai presents Invisalign treatment at the consultation — plus the paradigm shift required in aligner treatment planning.
Coffee break
The paradigm shift for teen & early interceptive treatment
Approaches to teen treatment, combining vertical protocols for deep and open bite with antero-posterior protocols for Class II correction, and early interceptive treatment with Invisalign First.
Lunch
Clinical session — live patients in clinic
Observe orthodontic patients through real appointments: consults, records, insert visits, and adjustments in an efficient digital workflow.

ClinCheck Mastery · Case Review · FinishingDeep dive into ClinCheck software planning
The Invisalign Personalised Plan, hands-on 3D controls, and Live Update — bring pending cases for live in-class modification, plus Wide Smile Photo, Smile Architect, and CBCT integration.
Coffee break
Treatment planning, case review & discussion
Cases presented by attending doctors are reviewed — records, treatment plans, and ClinCheck set-ups — with modifications requested online in real time.
Lunch — certificate presentation & photos
Troubleshooting, additional aligners & finishing with excellence
Managing severe rotations and root inclinations, complications like unwanted intrusion and posterior open bite — and minimising additional aligners on the way to an excellent finish.
